Should I stay or should I go?

I’m in a long distance relationship, she lives on the east coast, and I on the west coast. She has young children, and their father (her ex), so she’s “stuck”. I’m single, so it makes sense, if things go well, I move. I really like this girl, obviously, other wise I wouldn’t be having a “long distance relationship”! I can’t say at this point, “I will move”, it’s a huge decision, and we just don’t enough yet. So far I think she’s wonderful. Just thinking out loud. Wondering if anyone else has had this kind of experience…

Keep the long distance relationship and follow the life style of the Navy families; when they are far from each other they love each other but have short-distance affairs.

I hate when people say long distance relationships don’t work, because they do. The people that tend to say that are ones that haven’t traveled much or are unaware of how easy it is to get places these days.

First, make sure you REALLY know everything about her… and meet up with her in person many times before you just up and move out there. Once you guys have seen each other enough and really think you should give it a shot together, go out there! Living IS cheaper than on the west coast! (I’m in L.A… I know this haha) So yeah, good luck to the both of you!

Dear w93, Did you meet on the internet and not met face to face? If this is the case I suggest a meeting. Book a motel room for a few days where she lives and visit. You cannot possibly know someone via the internet well enough to make the big move without a meeting. If you do know each other and have met communication via phone, internet, emails etc. can keep a relationship going strong. Don’t forget the snail mail…women love a sincere love letter.
