Should I stay or should I go?

Me and my guy have been together off and on for 7 years now…we have a son that is 4…long story short..he drinks a lot..got a dwi..no car..no job..he is 30 im 23..he still stays at his moms…oh and he just got out of prison for the dwi..he has cheated on me…so I dont trust him at all…but I have cheated on him as well…we break up often but get back together a day or two later…I know whats good for me and what I think I should do…but he always pulls me back some how! And then a few weeks later were right back to the same mess again…so what should I do…try to make things work or what? And how can I keep myself from going back to him (we have to talk…we have a kid together)

Hi,

I firmly believe that you know this already – but this relationship needs to end. It is toxic sounding. Jail, cheating and no trust? How would you even begin to make it work?

You need to get custody of your child and get away, before it’s too late. If you keep “trying” , you will repeat the same cycle over and over. It’s hard to get the strength to leave…but think about your kid…
