Should I quit?

My dance teacher keeps on yelling at me on how bad im doing on my solo.well the thing is, that I’m kinda a slow learner, but once I get the hang of it, I not so bad but actually good.and the main problem is that I don’t show emotion in my face but I dont like acting and she always yells at me because of that.so I figured that maybe I shouldnt even do this solo?I dont want to embarass myself…

I was in your same shoes about 2 years ago,and I am a slow learner too and I have been dancing since I was little. Just talk to her one on one, tell her that you dont like her yelling at you. Do your solo, It came out great for me, and I know it will for you.

find a new teacher and practise with her/him. at the moment if all she is doing is shouting then she is not doing her job

Do it, it’ll help for your confidence as for the dance teacher, maybe speak to her alone and tell her that her screaming at you all the time isn’t helping.
