I started doing cheer with a lot of my friends for the town. It was really stressful bc it was all of the time and took up so much of my plans. I quit, and I didn't care at first bc my best friend quit too, even though she was on another team fot another school. But even though I didn't like it, I feel so left out bc tonight's the first game. I just feel like im missing out of everythih and all my friends are out with each other doing stuff without me. I hate this feeling, and i feel like crap now bc i quit. Any suggestions on what i should do?
I was never popular enough to go out for cheer leading or other things when I was in high school many years ago..But this isn't about me..No,I don't think you should feel bad about quitting cheer leading..Perhaps you may want to get into something else in life and move on to bigger and even better things..Life has all sorts of new adventures to explore sweetie and if you have a chance to try any of them,I say "Go For It.." Don't let others make you feel bad for doing things in your life that you want to..Good Luck.. :)
Find friends that are interested in the same stuff as you. I tried cheerleading because some friends of mine did and I hated it but they loved it. We found things to do outside of cheerleading and I also had friends who did other stuff too.
(I was more of the skateboarding, sports playing girl.)
If your friends aren't inviting you to go with them then maybe you should find new people to hang out with or join another, less time consuming, club. You shouldn't feel bad about it though =].
Without cheerleaders who prefer their own sex, my life would be meaningless. I didn;t read the story got distracted by the reference to cheerleading. Go with your heart sheila.
Do what ever your heart tells you, no one Is gonna force you to stay for ever In cheer leading :)
Try new different things :D that's what I do all the time.
