I am in 9th grade and football seasons already started so I cant play this year.I love football and I really want to play but I played in 8th grade and I had to be a line men and I hated it.but I have lost 30 pounds since then and now I weigh 125 .but I am still not very fast I run a 5.7 . should I play? and if I do play what would my position most likely be on offence and defence?
If you want to play go ahead, but I dont know if youll get any playing time having a 5.7 40 and weighing 125. You should gain some muscle and start working on your speed for next year. Right now I cant figure out any position you could play unless your a good kicker. High school is a lot different from middle school everyone is much bigger, stronger and faster. But if you really commit in the off season and gain weight then I guess it possible you can play.
k thax I know im not gettin any playin time I think im just gone practice and try to get good enough to play as a senior and I am weight liftin know and I have gotten alote stronger than I was but I need to get alote stronger and I start on the varsity basketball team so that will help me get faster
