Shipping out...

hey all. I’ve been with my girlfriend for almost 2 years now and I have decided to join the RCMP - royal canadian mountied police. and ill be gone for 6 months. I can only send letters and phone her. now the thing that bugs me is the thought of her forgetting me and or falling in love with someone else. while im away. I like to think that our relationship will deepen but mabe it’ll just fade. I know she loves me very much and same for me. we have been through a lot together and I mean a lot. so mabe just mabe this is just another speed bump? anny advice?

I dont think she would forget about you! I think she would be thinking of you every single day, yall have been together 2 years, she isnt just going to forget you

Two years is a good haul - I’d be hard-pressed to think she’d forget about you over a small matter of 6 months.

Have a little more faith in her - if she loves you, she’ll be waiting for you.
