What's these little scrape/burns/missing skin above my facial piercings?

It’s like a liddo red, & it doesn’t really hurt unless I push the jewlrey down, but it comes up everyother day & it’s kind of annoying.

Answer #1

you should see a doctor or go back to the piercer. we cant really help you without more information as generally those things DONT occur when you get or have a piercing, it sounds to me like its something else unless the jewlerey has a sharp edge/point

Answer #2

I think it’s cause i purposly get them caught on my teeth & it rips. -_-

There’s a possibility that you’re allergic to the metal or material the ring/peircing is made of.I know a friend who her mom and her are allergic to tons of jewlery material.

1st of all, all good professional piercing places must use Surgical Stainless Steel, You cannot use such things as Silver or Gold when u 1st get your piercing as the hole has not healed and the cemicals frm gold and silver can seep into you blood stream and cause blood poising and u must go and get anti biotics, the reason they use Surgical Stainless Steel is because approx 1% of the entier world is allergic to SSS. Imagine if people where allergic to SSS they would die, as SSS is used in Pins, frames or braces etc in the human body.

Answer #6

then that could also be it, if thats the case the wounds wont be able to heal and your likely to get an infection. if you cant stop doing this its not really good to have piercings in, and you should maybe try having them in a few years time
