Scene VS Prep labels

on youtube. theres a girl who does like a series of vids on how to looks scene. and people says shes a poser for called herself scene,

then other people say, she looks like a prep.

then a few other people say shes such a poser, she labels herself, she looks like a prep…

but isnt prep another label? if you say your a prep, arent you then just a poser?

is anyone else bothered by labels?

I mean.. yeah to go around and tell everyone your scene, or emo. goth or prep.. ya know what ever. then your not being who you really are.

but if you just dress the way you feel like and how your personality is. then its fine.

this is a semi-rant.

and I would like other peoples opinion on the subject

Answer #2

I hate it when people label. so many “preps” call me “emo” amd “scene”,and it gets annoying sometimes.just try to avoid them, and dont label people yourself either.

labels?what are we grocery? The only labels that should exist are on groceries… and boxes…and computers..and warning labels…etc you get the point right?Anyways labeling people is dumb why can’t we just be us w/o having to try to fit in a clique and stuff and being labeled? Labels on people aren’t fun =P anyways those people are just ignorant and are probably posers themselves to be talkin about other people like that

Answer #5
