is anybody else in love with Sarah Palin? I was just watching the VP debate and I literally got chills listening to her. I think she would be an AMAZING president and I'm a bit bummed she's not running for it. I think having her as a vice president would be a huge advantage to the united states. What are everyone else's opinions?

When Obama was a community organizer, Palin was trying to be miss america. A community organizer or a beauty queen? Which has more responisibilities?
When Palin was mayor of a town of 8500, Obama repsented about 600,000 in the Illinois senate. When Palin was governor of a state of 650,000, Obama was representing 12,000,000 in the US senate. I would say in both cases, Obama had more responsibility.

Were you proud of your country when it was treating african americans as second class citizens by segregating them? I sure wasn't. I was proud of the fact that so many good americans stood up discrimination and actually changed things, but there is no pride in the treatment our government allowed to happen against blacks. I am not proud of the behavior my country has had over the last eight years. That doens't mean I give up on it.

And you have every right to? Did Obama ever say you don't? What he said was that when times are tough, as they are now, and people feel bitter, they tend to cling to the things that make them comfortable. And in PA, it was guns and religion. Did he say there was something wrong with that?

Just heard? Mind telling us where? Since she become McCain's running mate her approval in alaska dropped from over 90% in 2007 to 68% now. So you are trying to tell us that more Democrats support her than republicans. I don't think so...
As someone who is mostly disinterested and undecided, I felt Biden won the debate hands down. He actually directly answered most of the questions. I really like Palin on a personal level other than her fanatical religious nutterism which I could really live without.
Palin rambled on about whatever she felt like talking about for at least half the questions, and nervously stumbled through some of the more difficult ones, such as same sex marriage. She came across as well informed about the likely hot points, but still unprepared to give meaningful answers - the same sense I've gotten from McCain. As a libertarian, I'm the last to think government is the answer to all our problems, but if my only two choices were McCain and Obama, I think I might actually vote for Obama.
...fortunately, those are not my only two choices. ;)

If the world WERE to end the way the Bible says it will, then mankind can in NO WAY prevent it, nor will they know when its going to happen. If Christians (the stupid ones) DO believe Obama to be the antichrist, then WHY would they not vote FOR him. yeah I didn't hear about the shoplifting thing either and I'm pretty sure he has no need considering the $10 million he has made since he first arrived in the senate. I think Sarah Palin and John McCain have the right idea about the war though. Pulling out now wouldn't do anybody any good. We're in this war and now we have to win it. Giving up is not an option in my eyes and I see it as insulting everyone who has died in this war. If we give up then they gave their lives for nothing. I won't accept that. When she quoted Ronald Reagan about freedom always being one generation from extinction I got so teary-eyed. That has to be the most powerful thing I've heard in a very long time.
Palin is definitely unfit for VP or anything really, shes got no experience, sux at keeping her family "liberal" (her teen daughter is pregnant what the hell is that) and then she shouts people should be married before they have intercourse bzzz shut up idiot, you need bigger glasses, and a bigger brain... she insecure about everything in her campaign (she lost the debate 100%) and to top it all off she says its good to send soldiers into iraq and let em be killed for no particular reason (other than fulfilling bushes plan) but guess what, this woman might actually become VP you dont believe me? then ask yourself how the hell did bush become president for the second time?
Joe Biden has been in his share of Predsidential debates...this was Palin's first time...and I think she did very well...
