I always thought this was a fictional story, but one day i was reading the bible and i found them there. So that was true that he was a superstrong man. Tell me please thank you.
Samson and Delilah are real people, they lived in Old Testament times, after Moses' death I believe. Yes he was really strong, with the power from God, not his hair. He was a Nazarene and part of their covenant w the Lord was not to cut their hair. His strength was from the Lord, and thats supernatural strength. Pretty cool
I see the Bible as a history book. Many people want to disagree. In my view of the truth, those people did exist once a very very long time ago though their names in the original Bible we're written in a different language and so I don't know if his name sounded like Samson does in English but most likely not. xD
Why are there characters in a book, you mean ... because the bible, is, in all essence - just a book. Whether you believe that it's true or not is entirely up to you, but you can't use the argument that these people existed because they're in this book ... with that logic, Horton most assuredly did hear a Who.
Those who believe the bible say they were real while those who do not say they aren't. There are those Christians as well who believe that the Old Testament should be read figuratively while the New Testament is literal; to those Samson and Delilah would be real since their story is from the New Testament.
Ah, my bad. I'm not all too familiar with the books of the Bible.
Samson and Delilah are from the OT, from Joshua.
So why is in the bible.
