Running a Junior High Mile

I have to run a mile in 2 days, and I have never ran one before. I weigh 154 Ibs, and I am a slow runner. I am overweight. (I am 13 years old). Is there any tips for running anf preparing for the mile? I do not excersize often, so running a mile or even 3 minutes is hard for me.

practice running for 30mins everyday and then you will start to increase your running and will be able to do it for an hour or more
