I heard sumthin bout a rubberband for cutting??
Dear chunkymunky, We typically give cutters alternative to cutting such as putting a rubber band on your wrist or ankle. When the urge to cut comes you snap the band several times. There are many techniques such as this that really do work. Quickly rubbing your feet along a carpet, eating ice, some even eat hot peppers. This is to stimulate, there are many more to relax that a counsellor will suggest so counselling is a must if someone feels they need to cut. Sue...good luck
