What is the best way to get rid of fleas off a puppy that is not a yr old yet?

give it a bath with a special flea shampoo asap! regular blue dawn dish soap is also safe and very effective. then clean everything she’s been on (your sheet, blankets, her bed, etc).

Start by giving your puppy a bath. You can use a flea shampoo or just keep thm in the water long enough to drown the fleas. You need to vacuum vacuum vacuuum to get up all the flea eggs. Clean out your vacuum right away after vacuum. Wash all your dogs bedding and your bedding if he sleeps in bed with you. You can make up a rosemary spray by steepng some rosemary in hot water. Rosemary is a natural remedy to prevent fleas.

You can get the once a month spot treatment like frontline or advantage, but I wouldn’t suggest it unless absolutely necessary as they are a poison you are pouring on your puppy. I made the mistake two years ago and my pug ended up with a huge chemical burn on his back. He went through a lot of pain and it cost me several hundred dollar at the vets. After that I research the spot on treatments and found out many animals don’t take well to them.
