You can get the once a month spot treatment like frontline or advantage, but I wouldn’t suggest it unless absolutely necessary as they are a poison you are pouring on your puppy. I made the mistake two years ago and my pug ended up with a huge chemical burn on his back. He went through a lot of pain and it cost me several hundred dollar at the vets. After that I research the spot on treatments and found out many animals don’t take well to them.
