can anyone think of reasons AGAINST school uniform???

In addition to Colleen - most students wear school uniform wrong - with loose, big ties, top buttons undone, and shirts untucked anyway. This also wastes teachers time as they have to KEEP telling them to sort out their uniform.

Its cliche……..

It’s boring and impersonal. Everyone is entitled to their own style and look to be themselves and we’re stuck with identical uniforms.

The school doesnt let the children express themselves therefore they dont learn a valueable life lesson

Take it from someone who goes to private school and wears uniforms… It’s awful. They cost a lot and are real ugly, and they cause rivals when the public school kids see you. It’s pretty much like hell

Personally I think school uniforms are good. People with less money than others will not be able to afford lots of clothes and expensive brands. Uniforms bring everybody to the same level.

But I do agree that they stump creativity! I went to a school where I had to wear a blazer 24/7! Even in Summer! it was so hot and every day we would have kids fainting of the heat. I think most uniforms look messy because kids always try to rebel by wearing loose, untucked, dirty uniforms. If we were to wear our own clothes, we would wear them nicer.

I once had a rock thrown at me because of my uniform :( It left a huge scar on the back of my head lol

School is mandatory in most countries, uniforms will make the children hate school more.
