what is the reasoning behind "keep your friends close, and your enemies closer" ?
i try to keep my enemies away from me.. i dont want to do anything to them i would regret doing… lmao
You should always keeo your friends close to you but by keeping your enemies closer you have a better eye on them to see if they’re gonna stab you in the back or not.

well you know who your friends are…if they say stuff/do stuff then you know it was them that said it or did it…but if your enemy says stuff/does stuff you wont know when or where it may happen…so to keep an eye on them sort of speak! that is why they say keep your friends close…meaning keep in touch with them…know what they are up to…but keep your enemies closer, so you know where their mind is and when they are being phony to you or when they may accidentally say something they shouldn’t!
It is implied that you should be aware of your enemies and never let them out of your sight, in case they stab you in the back.
