How to get my Mom to like my rat?
me and my rat are the best of friends we are so close shes like my little pocket puppy! but my mom isnt to fond of her how do I convince her that rats are good pets?
If your mom sees you getting a lot of pleasure and company from your rat, she may just begin to learn to like it - I’m not a ‘dog person’ but I love my son’s new dog just because she is so good for him. We love our kids so we learn to love what’s good for them (in time). The other thing to add to the helpful comments above is that rats are very clever, as far as I know - a vet friend of mine had them as pets and she thought they were one of the best pets anyone could have.
lol to fake fingernails…she could say that to her dad, but I dont think there would be a likely chance of her mother growing any balls.
anyways back to the question, tell your mum that pet rats are different from rats that are unwanted pests. tell her rats makes good pets because you dont need to do much for them, they require minimal taking care of you dont have to take them for walks or any of that business tell her that they are very company too. good luck ;)
