What:Is it possible to get a rash from water that had a dead body in it?

why? have you been in water that had a dead body in it? and - yes - it is very possible… when a body had slowly deteriated or dissolved in the water - skin from that body can cause your skin to become irretated.

It’s very likely that the rash was caused by something in the water, but I doubt it was the body. Just think about how many dead fish and other animals are in there. Snails, however, carry a parasite that can cause rashes in people.

You’re lucky if all you get is a rash. Dead bodies and water are a recipie for deadly disease.

Utah. I live in Santa Clara,utah and Sand Hollow is like,erm,depending on how fast you drive,is about 2-3 hours away. –But there is an indoor swimming pool in my town also called Sand Hollow.

I beileve this is sand Hollow. Is this what it looked like?

yep - but are you sure about the body found in Sand Hollow? Acording to stories in Google…. no body found.

i don’t rememeber. My mom had the news on and she told me to come in cause they said something about sand hollow and a body found and it was some dude and i freaked out lol.

it was about 4 years ago,i beleive it was july or aug. when we went,if that helps. I don’t rememeber the exact date. I was 15,i’m 19 now,almost 20. So yeah :)

Hmm.. idk all i heard and what my mom said was body found there. And it got me thinking. Eiether way,atleast i know if i ever do go to another lake and this situation were to happen,not to get in the water. just the thought freaks me out though

wow, that place looks beautiful from the pic… but the whole dead body thing.. sorda creepy.. probably wouldnt wanna go back there either but.. in a morbid way its also pritty awesome to be able to say u were swimming with a dead body…
