Should the goverment raise taxes on alcohol and cigarettes to eliminated raising taxes on everyday things?
If you raised taxes that high on cigs and booze, people would just buy them illegally to avoid the outrageous taxes.
Is there a reason you think the burden of government should fall only on those who smoke or drink...or are you just hoping for a free ride?
I think they should although I love to drink alcohol and have a good time why not raise them on things like that first instead of everyday needed things
