How does this website know what town I live in and how do I change it so it doesnt show it publically?
you can go to your profile and then click on "edit my profile," then click on "edit personal information" to change where you live, or to keep the location private.
Same way other sites do, by looking up your ip address. Change it by editing your profile: http://www.funadvice.com/my/profile
well when you made your site didn't you give your zip code?? that's usually how they figure it out !!
well if you gave them your postal code..thats why
