When do puppies start eating on their own?

I take Purina Puppy chow brown kibble only and put a little in a blender and blend it into a meal and feed it to my puppies with a little water to keep it from flying everywhere when the puppies slide into it..

Never stop Mom from nursing she will wean when she is ready. Some moms wean about 5 weeks some earlier and some a little later.

I like to feed my puppies 3 times a day. Some people say two. Here is the catch once you start feeding your puppies dog food. Mom will stop cleaning up the poop so have a poop plan in place. Newspaper or puppy pads whatever you like best.
