Pro-choice is considered pro-murder

Can anyone see this in any other way?

Answer #1

That absolutely false.

Pro-Choice is about giving the woman the right to choose. We would rather not anyone have to get an abortion and we are not pro-murder. We just think that the government does not have the right to tell a woman what to do with her body and does not have the right to make a choice fo her.

Answer #2

sigh…another MALE that thinks pro-choice is murder.

My question to you, have you ever been in a situation where you had to make a serious choice about your body about being, pregnant, raped or whatever else…

Like mandyloo said. pro-choice is about a womans right to choose what to do with her body…which I think it fair.

Answer #3

THAT…only takes a very short time, the rest is taken care of by US…the women. 10 mths to carry them, anywhere from an hour to 3 days to deliver them, ANOTHER 3 days until you can sit down again if you had a vaginal birth because your labia and all the surrounding tissue is so swollen from deliver which is like trying to push an elephant through the eye of a needle, then there’s…there’s the episiotomy! Stitches there take a good 3-4 days to quit hurting! Itching, and burning like he** when you pee. Another week for the sutures to dissolve, now we get to the abdomen…if a c-section was performed that’s 6 weeks of healing time, hopefully you don’t have a dehiscences and everything pulls apart and has to be sutured/stapled back again, also again itching like crazy, let’s move upwards shall we to our boobs—when they become engorged baseballs aren’t even as hard as those suckers!! Then, no matter where your at just try escaping the sound of a newborn crying, which immed causes a flood down the front of your shirt…right in THE MIDDLE OF SOUP FACTORY!! Of course you have already paid, so you CAN’T leave without getting your food, so you walk with your styrofoam to go box in front of you which does NO GOOD at all because the suckers are still a LARGE AND SWOLLEN simply from pregnancy and don’t forget ENGORGED FROM BREASTFEEDING which goes back to why you r carrying the tiny little styrofoam to go box in front of you to begin with!, And through it all those 6 weeks where everything is trying to heal, get scratched, not get pulled apart, quit burning, stop hurting, and keep dry…there’s daddy, whom this entire 6 weeks has sat there looking dejected and sad with his big puppy dog eye—which start to smolder as he watches you get ready for bed and asking you if you really HAVE to wait 6 weeks? As you give him a burning look (which hurts him WAY LESS than the burning we have while peeing that threatens without words. Oh, and all those who would want to do that less than a mth from having a baby needs to be shot in the head!! ESPECIALLY when they start talking about having another one SOON!!!

So,as you see Dr, men contribute so much that they should have a voice in what we do with our bodies and what’s in them!

And that mans sperm doesn’t have to be fresh, we’ll just go down to the freezer section of Safeway and pick up some frozen pollywogs to go. That would ensure no on else had a voice in our issues

Never argue this with a different nurse when you r inside a facility. you won’t get another bit of help from those nurses again until you actually graduate from med school.

We nurses are alarmingly able to remember people, places, and faces. So don’t try to trick them by changing your hair and growing a beard or something because they WILL know who you are and we smell fear like chocolate!! (:

Answer #4

…so… are you okay with a man knocking a girl up, then leaving her to fend for herself?

Answer #5

I’m pro-life, but I still don’t think that being pro-choice is the equivalent to supporting murder.

First of all, abortion is a medical procedure - not a barbaric act of manslaughter. Also, the fetus (and this I do agree with) is not a human being until it is born…it is not a being at all, but a symbiotic organism, completely dependent on it’s host (the mother) for life support.

Answer #6

Pro-choice = murder

Pro-life = people bombing abortion clinics

People bombing abortion clinics = murder/attempted murder

Can you see it any other way?

Pro-choice is just that pro-choice, able to decide what we do/do not do to our bodies. And I’ve always wondered why men are always wondered is why men are so concerned with what we are doing and most are always pro-choice??!! No man has ever had to make the choice of being pregnant and having to decide whether to terminate a pregnancy so that they can finish school and have a job where you are able to provide for a child financially. Nor have.they ever been raped by some sick, vicious stranger —only to find out later you are carrying “its” baby! Would you carry it to term and always thinking what a horrible thing this child came from. No man has ever felt the miracle of life inside your body—they’ve never had to deal with all these joyful feelings and then had to get rid of it at birth. Because any way you look at it—carrying a child inside your body is a truly tremendous experience and the idea of giving up a child at birth after you have been through with is a horrible, gut-wrenching decision. When was the last time a man had to make any of these decisions? What gives them the right to have a say in what way I/women should be able to do with our bodies. When they ALL can carry a child and have a VAGINAL birth—THEN, AND ONLY THEN should a man have a voice in abortion issues!!!

Answer #7

Exactly the reason why I would NEVER ever want chilren…birth just sounds SO disgusting.

Answer #8

Pro-choice is considered pro-murder

…only by people who don’t know the definition of MURDER.

Answer #9

When they ALL can carry a child and have a VAGINAL birth—THEN, AND ONLY THEN should a man have a voice in abortion issues!!!

…that’s foolish… you can’t HAVE vaginal birth EITHER, without a MAN’s reproductive material.

Since men have a part in the conception, they have a right to discuss the issue.

Answer #10

lol. fair enough. But I still don’t think I’d wanna go through that. maybe its cause of my age…will probably take about 10 years for me to even start thinking about something like having children.

Answer #11

My point is…in case you didn’t catch it, was why should someone who only has to do the easy, fun work be able to tell us what we should/should not be able to do with iur body for 10 mths after? Yes, the man contributes the spem and 1/2 of the genes, but should he be able to say “no” if I should decide that am not ready or just plain don’t want a child right now!?? I am the one who has to do ALL of the hard work. Yes, you may be there for “support” but its just not quite the same. What we really want besides “support” is your a** lying there with your legs up in the air spread eagle with your doc, 5 med students, and NP during clinicals watching intently between your legs as well (this IS a true story) and feeling as if a watermelon is coming out of your anus.

Answer #12

Well. It§ not really disgusting, I had an easier time than I thought I would (the previous post was just dramatic effect and a good laugh from women who have been there and a MAN who hasn’t, but feels just because he blew a nut means he can tell his woman what she can/can not do with her body!!) Its not a walk in the park by any means. But, it is definitely worth it in the end— Until they become teenagers, then its debatable. [•:

Answer #13

So,as you see Dr, men contribute so much that they should have a voice in what we do with our bodies and what’s in them!

Just because you or someone else had a shitty experience (or just made one up), it doesn’t mean you can apply that to EVERYONE.

And that mans sperm doesn’t have to be fresh, we’ll just go down to the freezer section of Safeway and pick up some frozen pollywogs to go. That would ensure no on else had a voice in our issues

…yeah… they DON’T have to be fresh, but they DO still come from a MAN. If you’d rather go to the sperm bank, fine… its your choice. Then you have no right to complain. But if you get the sperm DIRECTLY or ACCIDENTALLY, then the man has a right to ‘discuss’ the outcome… deal with it…

Answer #14

Sounds like rhetoric to me…
