Price range for pit puppy

What is the average price range for non registered pit puppied

Answer #1

about $25 at your local shelter.

Answer #2

you can find puppies for free on craigslist.

Answer #3

I suggest not getting a pitbull cause a 12 week old pitbull bit a baby’s toes off!

Answer #4

At your local shelter / pound = anywhere from $50 to $150 including shots and microchip. Pitbulls are very misunderstood animals and many give them up to shelters, including puppies.

Do a search on petfinder.com with your zip code, the age of the animal (baby for you) and the breed, and it will show you all those available in your area.

It’s saving a life – much better than spending tons on buying one from a breeder, especially if you don’t care about AKC registration.

Answer #5

Editor has it right! If you MUST have a pitbull puppy (they are high intensity dogs, very energetic, easily agressive, but typically loving) get one from your local shelter, preferably a kill-shelter, as you’ll be saving its life. They only charge a $25 adoption fee here for pits…

Answer #6

it depends where you get your puppy from. all puppies are different prices. I have seen ad’s for puppies that were 50 all the way up to 1000 and it really just depends if you want a purebreed or not and what body frame and color
