How can I prevent my feet from getting dirty when I wear sandals ?

the only thing you can do is wash your feet before you put sandals on and wash your sandals and feet after wearing them. Dirt collects over time from toxins in your body being released out of the pads of your feet, dirt being kicked up in small ammounts and any sweat or moisture only helps that collect.

There is no exact way. Some people prefer to wear the tan socks/pantyhose but I find that rather uncomfortable in Summer. Because we have a lot of summer festivals here, and the only ideal thing to wear is sandals, I carry a bottle of water with me. When my feet get really dirty I just spill some water on them. It won’t keep them sparkly clean but it does keep them from looking black. 

I SO disagree with this. During the summer, I’m a huge sandal and flip-flop wearer, and I live no where near a beach and here in Vegas you couldn’t be caught dead barefoot… Just wearing them for a bit could cause you to sweat [and have the dirt mix in] and therefore get dirty. TwiddleMuffin, the only way you really can is wash your feet on a daily and nightly basis. And maybe bring some diaper wipes with you when you go out. Plus they help keep your feet soft :)

Yeaahh budddyy i’m in Vegas too & in the summer you always need something quick so you don’t burn your feet & erryone wears flip flops constantly. I been wearing them to school & the bottoms of my feet turn straight out black, theres noooo beach in nevada. (x

You can’t :P I’ve lived in desert land long enough to try everything XD You’d have to do something ridiculous like put your feet in plastic bags but then you’d have super sweaty feet :P Just have to wash them off as often as possible and dry them really well.
