When is a pregnancy test accurate?

how long do you have to wait before you take a pregnancy test so it can be accurate? is it the same with blood tests?

Answer #1

to find out if your pregnant take a pregnancy test 2-3 weeks after you had sex (any sooner and the results won’t be accurate) in the morning with your first pee is the best time and take it when your period is due alternatively, see a doctor for a blood test this will both let you find out quicker and give you more accurate results

Answer #2

Store bought ones, usually when you miss your period unless you by one of the early predictor ones that can tell you 5 days sooner. Blood tests are much more accurate and can test pregnancy shortly after you conceive (a week or so).
