What does heavy bleeding while pregnant mean?

Hi, Iv been pregnant for 2 months nearly three now :) :D and Iv got my period today, a heavy one. And I dont think your meant to get your period when your pregnant or are you? Please help, thanks :) x

While it’s not unheard of for a woman to actually get period-like bleeding in pregnancy, it’s more often than not the result of a miscarriage. Are you having any cramping or clotting?

Anytime you experience heavy bleeding while pregnant you need to go to the emergency room ASAP. Spotting is normal, but heavy bleeding is usually a sign of a problem. Get to the emergency room as soon as you can.

Yes cramping not so much clotting but a little bit, what does this mean?

It sounds like you may be miscarrying. Unfortunately, there’s nothing that can be done to stop it, but you should go to the hospital and get checked out…I’m sorry, it’s a hard thing to deal with - I’ve had 3 miscarriages, myself.

You’ve more likely than not, misscarried. See a doctor. :(
