Dear stephanie22, People underestimated the time before they decide to get pregnant to prepare. Two years before you do you should get into your ideal shape, weight and state of mind. The idea weight is different for everyone. If you are underweight doctors recommend getting to normal weight first before pregnancy. If you are over weight you should choose a better diet prior. well I don't know what the guidelines in malta are, but in the UK they say a BMI of 20 - 24.99 is best for concieving.
