What I do, when I get into a poetry mood, is take my ipod and turn to a slow peaceful song when I want to write peaceful poems, or bleak and slow for when I want to write slow dramatic poetry, or happy upbeat music for lively poetry. That’s my trick, and I usually end up writing about the beauty of a soul, or how I can see right through to someones heart or someones pain, and everyone always tells me its good. Find some music that can fit every mood you’re in and listen to it when you’re feeling inspired. But here’s a list if you just HAVE to have a topic.
