a boxer is the best family dog and will help watch the kids, and wont get hurt as easily

chickens are actually a very good idea! they can hold them and watch them and they can also help you get the eggs, I think its fun for children!

depends on the age of the kids, the family,cost, and how much time they plan on spending with the animal and how much responsibility the want to have

I have a yellow lab mixed with retriever. The best dog I have ever seen with a kid and the easiest to train by far.

Depends on the age of the kids. I think that children below the age of 10 should not have pets usless supervised constantly by the parents.
