Its is the smallest planed in our solar system. Scientists are now saying they actually dont believe that pluto is a planet anymore. They believe it is just a chunk of ice
its because they changed the defintion of what a planet is there is now two things that a rok has to have to be a palent I cant remember them thoguh … pluto only does one of those two things

For a planet to be officially called a planet, it needs to be in orbit around the Sun. It needs to have enough gravity to pull itself into a sherical shape and it needs to have “cleared the neighborhood” of its orbit.
Pluto fulfilled two of the conditions but it didn’t fulfil the last condition. Any object that didn’t fulfil the third condition would be known as a “dwarf planet”.
