Well, what do you honestly believe? Does he show signs of genuine caring, or does it seem like an act? You should probably ask him and have a talk with him about how he feels about you. Generally, asking will get you a lot further than assuming. However, if you’ve showed interest and made it clear that you still had feelings, I don’t think he would still be around. Some people are frightened by the “L” word, it’s heavy concept to just string someone along for the fun of it. So have a talk with him about it and say, “Hey, I told you I feel this way, how do YOU feel?”

I had this situation with my gf, she thought the same about me! but i think no boy would jus play along! jus ask him if he truly loves yu, an see how he replies, listen to the way he says summet as well as what he says!
