What pills help calm you down/control anger?

actually I’m pretty sure they do exist, after all, people with ADHD take ‘control my anger pills’. I do believe I was asking a question, not for your opinion.

I apologize then for posting an opinion.I see you do need one of them. ‘Control my anger pills’ does not exactly work for your anger. They’re psychoactive medicine for a more serious illness unless thats what you have which i think not cos i’m pretty sure you’re just fine.

The only pill that pops to mind is sleeping pills but I wouldn’t recommend relying on them or any pills for that matter to help control or calming one’s anger. Best to seek a medical practitioner if you tend to fly off the handles easily (pardon the pun) or alternatively a qualified naturopath, as they can recommend alternative medicines without most of the unhealthy side effects. I am not sure exactly what medications are out there that would help a person control their anger. However, if there is medicine that can help you with your anger, it should be provided by a doctor. Also, a psychiatrist/therapist or an anger management class may help more than you think, and may be a better alternative to going straight for the option of being medicated.

I dont think there are any pills to control anger, and ADHD pills aren’t anger controlling pills. I was on them for years and if anything I was more angry all the time. Just get into yoga, meditation, or a form of fighting it’s a really good way to get your anger out in a positive manner without getting hurt or hurting someone.

I would like to also add to mackenzie’s list is anger management. Both my parents had extreme anger issues, my mother tried killing her brother and my dad was psychotic. My mom received anger management classes and no longer harbors rage but my dad never took classes but he is still very angry. So i would suggest taking some classes to suppress and learn to control your anger.

Maybe you want like a anti-anxiety pill?

But to control anger, you would need a mood stabilizer pill. But probably a low dosed one, as the high dosed pills are used to treat manic people.

Whatever you do, you should go to a specialist. You can’t find the right medication for such a thing without a doctor.

yeah i doubt if any such pills exist.. but when you get angry, just try to walk away and get some air…
