I seem to be about the only Christian willing to answer this question from a biblical viewpoint, so here goes.

Christians love you and don’t want to see you get hurt. We are blamed for ‘trying to convert every person in the world’. I will agree with that statement. If you won the lottery, you would want to share that good fortune with people you love. Likewise, if you saw a child playing in the middle of a highway, you would go and retrieve the child so he would not get hurt or killed. See where I am going with this. Trust me, I promote God’s word (the bible) not out of fanaticism but out of love. If you don’t want it, I can’t make you take it. I think I owe it to you to let you know that there is a God, named Jesus Christ, who loves you enough to have submitted himself to be tortured and killed (more like sacrificed) because of His love for you.

Anyways, I want to inform you as to what the bible has to say about dealing with the occult. I have been studying the occult in relation to what my religion has to say for approximately twenty years. As you are probably aware, the bible does forbid dealing with any form of the occult. Why? BECAUSE IT WORKS. However, you do have to ask yourself this… ‘WHO is making it work’?

In the bible we are told that even ‘Satan disguises himself as an angel of light’ (II Corinthians 11:14)… in other words, he masquerades as God’s true angels, can transform himself as deceased friends, has tremendous knowledge (by human standards) and tries anything possible to pull you away from a personal relationship with God and His rules (like communication with the dead).

Please remember that any occult practices that you participate in is definitely not from God but from a deceiver of the evil one. If you study famous occultists throughout history, you will see that they all ended as broken and pathetic people. Many people, like Aleister Crowley, one of the most wicked occultists in history left a trail of mentally disturbed and drug addicted ‘disciples’ in his wake. When you play with black magic, the occult and a lot of other new age religions out there today, you open up a doorway to influence that will ultimately pull you away from a God that loves you to a god that will lie to you, possess you and ultimately destroy your life.

Even Anton Levay, founder of the Church of Satan, once stated in response to ‘white magic / black magic’… “call it black, call it white… call it what you will… it really doesn’t matter because it gets its power from the same source”. You have to ask yourself if you want to open yourself to that persuasion.

5 bucks isn’t enough for it to be true. I get a tarot card reading for 60dollars, and she is dead on about everything. She told me that a lot of psychics are bs artists, but some really are gifted…as she is. It’s not all bull.

greghogrefe do you want a gold medal for your answer??!!! or should we jump up and do a dance around you??!!!

geez I’m a good Christian girl (hehe my parents and pops and nans would think otherwise) and thought my above answer was perfectly fine ;) …

Not being disrespectful to you sir, but there isn’t always a need to add verses from the Scripture to every frigging questions on here…Remember a lot of people don’t follow our faith so lecturing others is actually quite unbecoming and annoy the daylights out of them :)

Answer #4

Answer #5

Answer #6

If psychics can predict the future, wonder why they still need to work? …I would have thought all pyshics around the world would be millionaires over and over again, considering they should be able to see the lotto numbers by rubbing their balls oops I meant magical crystallballs. ;)

Answer #7

Buy yourself a chocolate for the 5 bucks, at least you would have more satisfaction for your money and it’s real, cause you can taste it ;-)

Answer #8

some are real. thats my beliefs. but some people dont believe in them. for 5 bux yeah go for it. but then again for 5 bux dont expect anything fabulous lol.

Answer #9

a lot are scams out there, tarnishing the names of the true practitioners. Usually the good ones will do it for cheap. To tell if they’re real or not, make sure you DON’T tell them ANY information about yourself other than your name and PERHAPS a question(the really good ones just need your name and nothing else), NOTHING more. The fake ones will try and trick you into you telling them information an then just regurgitate the information they heard.
