Who can help me with the personnel cycle for a hospital?

Does anyone here work in a hospital and get paid? I need to know how the payments get processed and the actual way doing it i.e. do you get together in a room and get paid or is it via EFT? PLEASE help.

In the US, most employers have the option of either getting an EFT, or getting a paper check…EFT is processed like clockwork, where as with a paper check, some businesses take longer to process, etc.

I worked as a Dietetic Aide in a hospital in Canada, and we were paid by EFT. We received our paystubs a couple days before the actual pay date.

What about wages? That is what I should have asked. Cash cheques or EFT’s?

Sorry, I meant employees get checks (ah, cheques) or EFT directly into their personal account. (Colleen said the same, below).
