Who's the person to go too about an abusive boyfriend/girlfriend?

My friends boyfriend has started go become rather abusive to my friend but he doesn’t really realise how bad it is.. He wants to see someone who can try & help him overcome this bad phase so he can be back to normal with his girl.. He also wants to get tested for ADHD. Who would be the right people to for him to see? Thanks c:

If he thinks he has ADHD, he needs to see his doctor, but having ADHD doesn’t cause you to be abusive so I’m guessing that’s an unrelated issue.

For his temper, he needs to see a therapist.

ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, it has nothing to do with being violent or abusive. He needs to see a therapist so he can talk about what’s been making him act so angry and violent. The first step is him realizing that he is abusive. Hopefully he can over come this for the sake of his own well being and his girlfriend’s.
