pericing-- correctted onn!
I am 14 and I want my belly periced really bad. I wanted it done in 6th grade but I was to young. my mom said I canget it done. is their any places where I can get it done in pa. I want to get it done around chirstmas break bc im going on vataction in may and I have to stay away from salt water for 6 months
*sorry for the conufssion. my mom did say I could get it doneee also I live in PA so is there an age limit?
In most US states, you must be 18 years or older to get it done WITHOUT parental consent. If your under 18, you have to have a parent or legal guardian with you to approve of it. You need to be sure to get it done at a good, PROFESSIONAL place. That way there’s way less of a risk for problems like infections.
ususally its 16 to need parental consent unless its in a private spot, then you legally need to be 18 for a nvel ring, unfortunatly there would be a few places who would do it but if I were you I wouldnt get it done just yet do wait a bit longer at 14 your body is still growing, so by the time your around 16-17 it will be half grown out and just dangle there it wont look anywere near as “attractive” as it doid when you got it done and youll have to get it re-peirced so it really is best to wait a few more years the only pro a peircing has is to sit there and look good there are however far more cons than pros so take some time to think about if this is really something you want done and dont just want it because its “cool” and because everyone else does
