Hair color correction

How to correct yellow / orangish color after lightened my hair ? My hair in naturally med brown.

I am a licensed hairdresser/ barber and if you are trying to go blonde, you need to try to keep the bleach/ dye on longer to achieve the color-lift that you desire. If you want a medium blonde you would need to have someone go get another medium blonde color and try again. What happens when you try to go lighter with darker hair is that it takes a double process (2 dye jobs) or a longer processing time to achieve the color you want. If worse comes to worse…go get another color closest to your natural color and use it. Make sure that you leave it on long enough!!

Never try a DIY hairdressing at home, especially dying it lighter! You can never go wrong if you get it profesionally done
