Why do people trophy hunt when others need the meat?

I just really dont get it why someone would kill an animal to just make a rug or mount the horns, plenty of people need food, why do trophy hunters even have the right ?

We also waste water by taking long showers and theres millions who need water, we waste food when millions need food. Were just wastefull cause we dont realize how much what we have really means. People need to be more mindfull.

people who trophy hunt probably dont care that other people dont have meat, they see killing as a sport, something for fun. i personally hate trophy hunting

Trophy hunting to me, means killing things that we normally don’t eat…like wolves, tigers, lions, etc…In in this state, you can’t kill a bighorn sheep take the head, and leave the carcass…you have to haul all of it out. If they eat it or not, who’s to know?

I don’t really see a point in trophy hunting.
