How do people steal flat screens or t.v's?

It’s not like you can just put it in your pants and walk out of the store unnoticed. And no, I’m not planning on stealing a t.v.

Answer #1

In a store, they’d probably have to hold up the store. From a house, they could just wait for the owners to go out, break in, and waltz out the front door with the TV.

Answer #2

They observe the delivery entrance of an electronics shop and wait till a palette of whatever stands there unobserved while the delivery guy went inside to get a signature from the clerk. Then they come with blue overalls and a forklift and take the entire palette to a near truck, completely unnoticed by any random bystanders.

Answer #3

That sounds extremely thought out….

Answer #4

I used to work at wal-mart and 3/4 of things that were stolen were because of the door workers not doing their jobs. People would load up a computer, television, etc in a buggy or an a trolly and just roll it out the store. The door person is supposed to stop them and check their receipts…if they dont do their job its easily stolen.

Answer #5

A friend once told me that someone stole an entire palette of computer hard disk-arrays (that is: really expensive server machines with several hundred tera-byte memory space build in) that way from the place where he works.
