Why do some people think that if a girl has curves, it makes her plus size?

The reason is because fashion models are very thin. Consider that “plus-size” starts at size 12 and the average woman in the US is size 14. Instead of being called “plus-size” these models should be called “normal” and most fashion models something like “minus-size” or perhaps “unnaturally thin.”

I think that as the idea of ‘thin’ gets thinner and thinner, each size is bumped up a notch as girls keep striving to get to new lows. Like, a while ago, size 6 was considered thin, but now that 6 is average and 2 and 0 are what girls are striving for, the bar has been altered and other sizes have been bumped up.

i couldn’t agree any better..its crazy..im a size 3..yet i have like C-cup boobs..and a little thicker thighs and a round butt..im considered curvy-ish..yet my waist is small..lol..its just ridiculous how the model industry puts such a stress over weight in general lol

I totally agree with the above post..woman who are super super skinney dont have curves..which isnt really flattering..curves rock so embrace them if you got them and love yourself :)
