Why do people feel the need to taunt others about their learning ability?

Answer #1

People in general usually don’t. Kids, and immature teens do. Most adults are mature, and don’t taunt or make fun of others for things that cannot be helped.

Answer #2

For a laugh, maybe to make themselves feel better.

Answer #3

People at a young age have difficulty with empathy and impulse control. Throw in some hormones during the tween and teen years and you have a really good mix for being nasty. They pick on people who are different becasue it makes them feel better about themselves. That is why they always pick the most hurtful thing about you to pick on. This doesn’t make it right. It is your more mature people (teens) who stand up and point out it is wrong.
