it bugs me greatly.
I've never known anyone to make that assumption, with the exception of my fourteen year old neighbor who is stereotypical about everything. To answer your question, there's really no way to tell why people think certain things, they just do! Some people do it to put others done, and some because they are just clueless and don't know what to think. Shopping at a store certainly doesn't make one "emo", and it would be pathetic for anyone to have that mind-set.
what i hate more is people who PRETEND to be. im not gonna lie. i wuld be catagorized in the "emo" group. ill admit it. nd theres ppl i kno yu like put petty marks on theyre wrist then run around telling everyone theyre emo. bugs the hell outta me.
