Cautions and procedures while piercing your own lip?

So if you peirce it by urself, what catiouns/ procedures do you do? My friend did it and she looks so cute! Its not infected. This question is for those who know about it, not people who think I shouldnt do it. Thanks

I know all about it( I have 4 lip rings), and I think you shouldnt do it yourself there are nerves and veins in your lip, as there are all over your body which you could hit you have no expirience, neithetr does your freinds peircing is a lot more than sticking something through your skin you need to know exactly what your doing people who do it themselves risk getting it crooked, hitting veins, longer hgealing time, increased risk of infecting and more the safest things to peirce ourself (if there ever was one) is your ear I know this isnt what you want to hear, but its what im going to tell you.
