How can I pass my free time in a useful way?

  I have went with the hobbies option. I garden in the summer, tinker with my dirt bike and vehicles, do my own auto work. I love to tinker with computers hardware and software. And of course there is always cleaning and repairs to do around the house it seems. I like working with my hands and building things.
