Why are my parents so strict?

Maybe you’re a bad kid. They are going crazy trying to raise you and only know to react in a negative way.

well my mom was super strict ! but is because they want the best for you ! now im 16 and she lets me do anything i want! thank God ! but now u mite see them as the worst persons but later on you will thank them .

are you the 1st or only child? How old are you may I ask? Some first time parents are more strict on the kids. Try sitting down to talk with them and work out a compromise.

It’s because they care about you and they’re trying to raise you right. They want you to grow up well. A ton of people would KILL to have parents that loved them and cared about them like yours seem to (some people don’t even have parents!). So even though it’s annoying now, you’ll thank them later.

Did you get beat every day did your dad tell every1 evil things about you that aint true like raping kids and animals did your parents make your lil boy go into care no well your lucky you dont know what I had been through so say im evil because you havent met the meaning of the word I have and it nearly drove me to death remember the bridgend hanging I nearly did it so next time watch what you say because I dont need family or friends all I need is my son

Just a question. Do you have a pet? If so you probably keep that pet in a cage, fence, or on a leash, correct? I thought so. Why do you do that? SImple. You want to protect them from getting in the street and gettin ghurt or getting lost. Not saying that you will get hit in the street but your parents love you so much that they don’t want anything to happen to you so they have set rules in place to protect you. It may feel restrictive but I promise you that when you move out and the world hits you, you will miss those boundaries.
