Why did my parents take my phone away?

ok last night my parents took my phone away cause it died and I couldnt get ahold of me and so they took my phone away and yelled at me all night. I dont know what to do im sick of this trying my hardest and them not caring. What should I do

They were obviously upset that they couldn’t get a hold of you, which means - they CARE !! - it’ a scary thing when you can’t get your child (are they safe?) - so access to another phone was impossible - be thankful they care, many, many ,many don’t.

I no how you feel my parents did exactly the same thing last year. did you explain about battery dieing? also you should say that if you go out now how will they be able to get hold of you if you haven’t got your phone on you. just always make sure its charged up whenever you go out from now on.

yep, the invention of cell phones has messed it up for the young. there is now no excuse for not calling. if yours went dead, I am sure that a friend of yours had one. parents worry. it is their lot in life. they worry and their kids mess up sometimes. when I was young, probably around 5, my mom and I were shopping. I walked away and became lost. she found me in a few minutes but really yelled at me. I still remember how mad she was. that was a long time ago. I asked her about it once and she said that she had been so worried that she freaked out. parents do that.

hey at least you have a phone! Im almost 14 and dont have one.. tell your parents that its not your fault and to give you ONE last chance and hun…dont let it die again! lol Good Luck!
