When) is it legal for a parent to take something from their kid?

Is it legal for a parent to take away something from their kid if they don’t want to get a haircut and don’t need one but their parents are trying to force it.

Answer #1

im not sure you can sue your parents but I know what its like my parents did the same and I was so mad but I had to cut it :S

Answer #2

Eric,

I know how you must feel, but your parents have the right to raise you, and it sounds like they are being reasonable. Be thankful, because many parents out there just don’t care about their kids.

Being a parent is a tough job. Please cut ‘em some slack. They sound like decent parents to me.

Answer #3

What are you going to do? Sue your parents? Get real. There’s really only two things you can do, either keep on rebelling and see who wins, or just give in, apologize and get the haircut.

Answer #4

I think you’re being very disrespectful to your parents I’m guessing they do everything for you, food, clothes, rides to places, so I think it is their choice untill you are an adult and out of their home how you look, obviously you need a haircut or why would they be doing this? get your damn haircut, shut up and be grateful you have caring parents that do soo much for you.

Answer #5

what I did was go with the flow…its always better than fighting it actually pays off
