What is the best pain reliever in your opinion?

So umm my back is in a sh!t load of pain and I can’t get it to go away;( nyway I’ve been taking advil/doan’s/ibuprofen(all at different times) nd none of them helped the pain. I’ve tried to stretch but when I do I can barely get out of the stretch. So what’s the best medicine? P.s. If you want to know exactly where my pain it and what it feels like(because you think you can help) tell me and I’ll post as a status update.

Answer #1

Tolerance.

Answer #2

Excedrin works best for me, but everyone is different…so it may not work well for others.

Answer #3

Sorry jus updated it…the pain is in my back not my head

Answer #4

I applaud the people who don’t take medicine for every little problem they have. That takes some serious patients and tolerance.

Answer #5

Go to the doctor. If you have already tried taken multiple pain relievers…it’s obviously something a pain reliever can’t help. There may be something more serious than you think going on with your back.

Answer #6

advil

Answer #7

A good old cursing setion….Lol

Answer #8

I wouldnt recommend toughing it up for back pain. thats the worst pain, right next to getting shot or stabbed. go to the doctor and have him look at it or something and than he’ll prescribe you something

Answer #9

Back pain is not nearly the worst pain…there are far worse pains to suffer through

Answer #10

hm. like what? getting ur leg chewed off, probably. but theres not much else that people go through in their daily lives that is worse than that unless they have some disease where theyre always hurting or something

Answer #11

honestly the pain goes away quicker if u just deal with the pain.. sure medicine might help make the pain subisde.. but it will stay with u longer

Answer #12

Well, let’s see…migraines, child birth, ovarian cysts, third degree burns…..for starters…

Answer #13

Ive had a migraine before, true that is painful, but ive also messed up my back and that was way worse for me. child birth = whatever the heck they stick up ur back. ovarian cysts isnt something that everyone goes through every day. its something that some people go through every day, so back pain is more common. i agree that burns are probably worse

Answer #14

If you think that a backache is worse than a migraine, then you haven’t had a true migraine….I had 3 children, naturally - epidurals aren’t necessary…a lot of women do suffer ovarian cysts…but none of that is the point - you said nothing is worse than back pain and I just proved you wrong. I have a twisted spine and 3 vertebrae out of place - I know back pain, and I can assure you, there are worse things to suffer,

Answer #15

Well, if he’s taken all those things without any effect, then from my experience, he has a pinched nerve…nothing but time will fix that.

Answer #16

Okaayy than??? thats nice to know. now im afraid to get a “true migraine” and now im pretty sure i want to adopt, and i probably will never do anything that involves my back ever again.

Answer #17

You don’t have to live in fear if you learn how to deal with everything life throws at you…pain included.

Answer #18

I have pretty weird fears. im afraid of heights, space, and the ocean. im also afraid of breaking a bone :(

Answer #19

not only do i like that answer i love that answer. and actually its what i normally do. my mom takes medicine for everything so i go against her and i actually do my best not to take medicine. that really is the best one word answer ever.

Answer #20

This is for colleen: I don’t think it’s a picnhed nerve I had that wen I was younger. It was a similar pain but it kinda spasimed(spelled that wrong) too, and this pain is sharper than the pinched nerve. I mean that’s the only pinched nerve Ive ever had so idk if spasms ALWAYS come with pinched nerves but still…

Answer #21

i used to think cocodomol was but ive had a tension headache for 3 weeks and its not touching it

Answer #22

try Avoiding the pain cause, Every time takin a medicine makes you habbitual forthat pain and for medicine

Answer #23

No, spasms don’t always accompany pinched nerves…I get pinched nerves a lot and it feels like someone is jabbing a pen into my back while simultaneously punching me repeatedly…every movement is painful.
