How to relieve UTI pain?

I have frequent urination,Which burns sometimes, and I’ve noticed a change in my discharge.Sometimes,my lower stomach hurts a bit, too. I’ve called the doctor but they cant get me in until next Wednesday.Thats 5 more days! How can I at least relieve some of this pain until then? Im really quite frustrated.

Answer #1

You don’t have discharge with a Urinary Tract Infection. It sounds like you have a yeast infection or STD. You need to see a doctor for treatment as soon as possible.

Answer #2

Cranberry juice, and a lot of it. Until you can see a doctor and get antibiotics for it, cranberry juice is your best friend. It lubricates the urinary tract and makes the bacteria from the infection less likely to stick. Also, the more fluid you drink, the more you have to process, so it flushes out the bacteria a bit more.

Theres also this stuff called URAL, which is a urinary alkaliniser. It tastes vile, but if you take it, it does relieve the burning a bit.

YOU CAN GO BUY SOME OVER THE COUNTER MED CALLED “AZO” ASK THE PHARMACIST AT THE STORE TO RECOMMEND ONE TO YOU BECAUSE THERE ARE SEVERAL DIFF KINDS I USED TO GET THOSE ALL THE TIME AND THEY WORKED FOR ME BUT THEY DO NOT CURE IT JUST RELEVE THE PAIN SO YOU STILL HAVE TO GO TO THE DOCTOR AND IF IT GETS REALLY PAINFUL THEN, OK THIS IS GOIGN TO SOUND GROSS BUT IT WORKS SIT IN A HOT BATH AND PEE !! GOOD LUCK!

Answer #4

Drink a TON of water and cranberry juice and lay off the sodas! Also, if you don’t want to wait, you could always go to a clinic as a walk-in and they could see you that day! Just a suggestion!
