Hey, so I just got my first piercing (nose) done a few days ago, and I'm starting to think I want to get something else too. Obviously not for at least another month or two though. :p
I really like septum piercings, but I'm not sure if I could take the pain.. my friend got hers done, and she cried. D: I think she has a pretty low pain tolerance though, she said getting her ears pierced hurt pretty badly. I couldn't even feel my nose piercing.. I dunno if I could even pull off a septum piercing though. Haha.
I've also been told that I would look good with a monroe or a stud on the bottom of my lip.
What do you think would look good on me? :D
Firstly- I love piercings but I just simply think that septums look ridiculous, although offcourse it is your decison. Monroes can look gorgeous on certain people and horrible on certain people- it again depends.
Septums are one of the most painfull piercings for most people. So no matter if you have a high pain tolerance it is still probably going to hurt. I watched a video and Youtube of a girl getting it done and she cried her eyes out and told the piercer she didn't know it would be that painfull. It's up to you. If you really want it- get it but be prepared for pain.
I have 25 piercings total. Personally I love piercings, obviously. When I had my monroe done a couple years ago, (actually I had one on both sides called angel bites) I pierced it myself and it actually didn't hurt at all. The most painful one I have gotten is my septum. Mainly because there are plenty of nerves in that area. However, it feels like a bee sting and honestly, the worst part of it is when they pull the needle through and insert the ring. Dermal piercings don't hurt at all, and they're really cute so you should try that if you're afraid of the pain. :D
heh, yeah, it's a very thin line for septums. I absolutely adore them on some people and on others they look awful.
I know it'd hurt, I'm just afraid I'll end up crying like my friend. D= And I guess if I don't want it enough for it to hurt that badly, it really isn't worth it.
Like I said, I'm gonna be thinking about it a lot more, but thanks for the input (:

Yeah, me neither. I'm thinking of maybe getting one more and then my ears (how weird am I? I was more scared to get my ears pierced than my nose) and that's it.. most people, I think it starts looking ridiculous if you have more than 2 or 3 facial piercings.
I pierced my septum myself and guniely ached a lot but didnt hurt. Get the soft spot and pushed like hell. Its really worth I though. my monroe hurt more than my septum by far
I got my septum donee and it honestly doesnt hurt that bad. I actually heard its on of the least painful facial piercings. im a wimp, and I didnt cry :) go for itt :)
just keep it naturally, I do not think that too much decoration can make someone look more sexy, more attractive, more vivid.
I got my monroe done the other week but I reckon it'll look good on you too :)
