In general you need to have a PhD in psychology to be a professional psychologist. I met a psychologist for a school district that only had a Master's but otherwise everyone I met who works in the field has a PhD. Clinical psychologists also have to complete an internship.
You need to get a PhD. Which is 4 years undergrad and 5 years of grad school. Then an internship. Anyone with a masters is just a counselor, not a psychologist.
